Can you get tattoo's over a multiple of scars?

i was in a bad car crash, and i have about 10 scars in a 6 inch area, i was wondering if i could get them all tattooed over?Can you get tattoo's over a multiple of scars?
Yes, it's very possible to have a tattoo done over your scars.


Corey on La Ink actually tattooed a guy that had a skin gpraph covering his whole upper arm.


You will need to do some research and find an artist in your area that has alot of expierence with tattooing over scars. Make sure that you meet the artist and see pictures of the before and afters covering the scars. It may cost you more to have a tattoo b/c of the time and better quality of tattoo you will get. You may also have to drive a couple of hours in order to have the best artist.


Your scars should be atleast a year old, preferably no pinkish colour. You may want to buy some shea and coca butter lotion and treat the scars to help reduce them a bit if possible.


I have a friend that had a camera put in her knee and had a big round scar. She had a wonderful colorful tattoo put there to hide the scar.

no on miami ink it said its hard too because it would rip your skin, it is paniful, and even really hard to tattoo over a scarish area





i also wanted to get a tattoo on my arm but i got this huge scar and now i cant

Yes, but it's difficult for an artist to do, so make sure you use an artist who has experience tattooing over scars. They also have to be at least a year old, and it's best if they're not pinkish anymore.
