How to cover up self inflicted scars...?

Winter formal is next week and I have to wear a sleeveless dress but I have scars all up my left forearm. What is the best way to cover them? How to cover up self inflicted scars...?
Concealer and powder dusted over it to keep it from smearing. They make special makeup for scars that covers really well and doesn't smear-look it up on Yahoo to find where you can buy some.

A side note-you should seek help for your reasoning behind your self-inflicted scars. That's a serious medical condition as a result of depression that could be very difficult for you if you leave it without treating it. For your own sake, see your doctor! How to cover up self inflicted scars...?
Really long gloves!
...why do you have self-inflicted scars?
theres a product called maderma that will help to reduce the scars...if they arent' too bad, it can get rid of them completely...they probably wont be gone by the formal, but it will reduce the appearance of them and then you can use concealer and powder to hide them completely

please talk to someone and get help for these self-inflictions!!! some of my friends used to do the same thing, and talking really does help, even though it's difficult at times...good luck!!
ive had scars for years now and i have nothing to do

to hide them besides wearing long sleeves.

since you really need to, try different types of makeups

and see what works.

ive also tried mederma, but im very impatient

and probably should've waited longer until i saw results

but instead im thinking about getting laser surgery.
Put concealer or foundation on them, and then put powder on over it to make sure it doesn't rub off. Maybe wear a stack of bangle bracelets on your arm to also cover it.
you could try make up but it may come off but a nice pair of long gloves would look elegant and formal as well. either black white or silver
