Whats the best way to get rid of small scars on your face?

I have a few very small scars on my face around my mouth and on my chin, they are not THAT noticeable but they bother me bc im so critical of myself. Is their any safe ways of making them fade without just using make-up to cover them?Whats the best way to get rid of small scars on your face?

I would go to the mederma website. They had an online coupon there. I just purchased it a couple weeks ago and I think the coupon was only for like $2.00 off but for me every little bit helps!
