Methods to Deal with Acne Scars

Mild acne scars can be treated effectively with natural acne scar treatment. Try the following tips to get rid of acne scars the natural way.

1. Sandalwood is very effective in treating acne scars. Mix it with some rosewater and apply it to the scars. Leave it on overnight and wash it off in the morning.

2. Rub ice cubes on the face to tighten the pores.

3. Cut a tomato in half and rub it on your skin.

4. Use cucumber juice as a toner.

5. Raw garlic is a very effective acne blemish treatment.

6. Take turmeric internally or make it into a paste and apply it to the skin.

7. Sage and Aloe Vera have healing properties. Apply Aloe Vera directly to the skin. Seep sage in hot water, cool and then apply.

8. Apple cider vinegar is good for clearing up spots. Use in place of a toner.

ARTIFICIAL METHODS - USING MEDICATIONS AND CREAMS

There are a number of medications; creams and acne blemish treatments that can be used to reduce the appearance of acne scars. When choosing an acne scar treatment, you need to consider the severity of your acne scars, the type of acne scars you have and the type of skin you have. It is best to talk to a pharmacist or beautician who can advise you on the best type of treatment for your acne scars and skin.

Mild scars can often be successfully treated with bleaching creams that are bought over the counter. It will usually take six weeks before there is any improvement. If these creams do not work, doctors can prescribe stronger creams, which are used in conjunction with retinoid creams. The retinoid creams will also help prevent acne. How do i get rid of Acne scars?
I heard coconut oil works
my dad had acne scars and he went to the dermatoligist and they gave him the stuff to put on his face that he used daily and it took off the first couple layers of his skin and within a month they were almost gone and it was pain free I think a little expensive but his face looked great. just ask your dermatoligist about it.
laser, photo rejuventaion, dermabrasion, fillers.
i have a few scars too and theyve reduced heaps over the month/weeks just by

1) having a really healthy diet! make sure you drink a loootttt of water like HEAPS 11 glasses a day just to be on top! have a lot of fruit and vegies..like Carrot and orange especially. honey is good in small amounts and helps if applied on the exterior as well

2) moisturising..the more your skin is dry the harder it will be for the scars to go..because they need to heal! and dry skin cream really repairs your skin and gets rid of scars...stuff like cetaphil cream :)

3) try bio oil its completely gotten rid of a small scar on my leg :D
I do not have acne scars, but I'm starting to show signs of aging at 48 years old in April. I love the Olay Regenerist system! Used properly, it really sloughs the skin and leaves smoothe results. I apply Olay sensitive skin lotion after. The foundation seems to go on smoother. I have also used firming gels that really provide good results. In your case, I really believe I would spend the money to have a professional Dermatologist take care of your condition for longterm results. P.S. I am a highschool teacher and see kids who have terrible acne that is being left untreated. They are setting themselves up for scarring problems in the future. If your funds are limited, do know that you can get on a payment plan that suits your income. The main thing that doctors want from you is consistency in payment. If you say you are going to pay $10 per month, that's what they want to get, without fail. If you have insurance, then so much the better. Good luck!
