Can tanning in the sun help eliminate acne scars or acne in general?

yea i have lots of acne scars on my chin and im just wondering does sitting in the sun help eliminate this? Can tanning in the sun help eliminate acne scars or acne in general?
no it actually makes it worseCan tanning in the sun help eliminate acne scars or acne in general?
No. Tanning in the sun will not eliminate acne or acne scars. In fact, it may make them worse. No one factor causes acne. Acne happens when oil glands come to life around puberty, stimulated by male hormones from the adrenal glands of both boys and girls. Oil is a natural substance which lubricates and protects the skin, and under certain circumstances, cells that are close to the surface block the openings of oil glands and cause a buildup of oil underneath. This oil stimulates bacteria (which live on everyone's skin and generally cause no problems) to multiply and cause surrounding tissues to become inflamed.

There is a weblink attached for care of acne and tips for prevention.
The sun dries up the skin so it seems as if they get rid of acne, however when you have acne scarring such as hyperpigmentation, the sun actually makes it much worse, it darkens the pigmented spots and actually extends the healing / fading time of those scars. So no, the sun will make marks worse.
well, it makes it less noticeable, but actually the UVA rays dry up and damage a bit of your skin so breakouts are more likely to happen.

It usually dries up your pimples, but it really depends on the person. Some people it makes it worse, some people it clears it up a heap.
not sure, but from experience laying out does usually clear up my skin! it definitely makes acne look less noticeable
