here are some home-made, all natural skin care remedies.
to get rid of acne scars:
to get rid of acne scars mix two tablespoons of jojoba oil (can probably be found at a local heathfood shop) and four drops of lavender oil. Apply this mixture to your scars day and night for about a week, and there should be a great improvement.
to prevent zits from coming back:
Make a cleanser at home to use everyday to prevent your zits coming back. A very soothing cleanser for acne prone skin can be made really easily from a few drops of lavender oil (which is highly cleansing and antiseptic) a half a cup of buttermilk (which soothes and brightens your skin). Mix the two ingredients and apply to your skin with cotton wool buds. You should rinse your skin with luke-warm water after leaving the product on your skin for about ten minutes.
what to do if you get a spot:
If you get a zit again, the best thing to do is not apply any make-up, but instead spread a layer of honey over it (which is antiseptic and should clean your skin). wipe the honey off after about an hour and rub a fresh garlic clove over the spot, (this is also anti-septic). You should notice your zit gone very quickly after this :)
good luck, and have fun making these treatments at home :DHow to get rid of scars from acne? also how to keep zits and scars from coming back?
I have had the same problem , zits .. acne ... then the scars that come with them ! SO annoying .
I dont have a problem with it anymore since I started using Clearasil cleansers ... it works so well . I also use Palmers Cocoa Butter and regular Vitamin E cream for my scars , and they aren't nearly as noticable as before I used it . I also heard Bio Oil works well .. but I never tried it for myself . Heres what I do ;
Before going to bed you should ;
- Wet your face with warm water
- Massage a coin size amount of Clearasil all over your face
- Rinse it off with warm water
- Splash your face with cold water
- Pat your face dry with a towel
- Apply Cocoa Butter and / or Vitamin E cream to the scars
Go To Sleep :)
When you wake up ;
- Splash your face with warm water ( rub extra cream left on your face off when you do this )
- Splash your face with cold water
- Pat your face dry with a towel ( try not to rub )
- Apply sunscreen and / or makeup ... whatever you apply on a regular basis ... if you dont wear makeup , i HIGHLY reccommend sunscreen .
Have a good day :)
Use this as your daily routine and you should have a clear complexion :)
Much Love ,

Hi Lilly,
There's a product called Bio Oil that you can buy from your drugstore, which helps reduce the appearance of scars.
To keep spots from reappearing, I wash my face twice daily (in the morning and before I go to bed). There should be some fairly cheap cleansing, toning and moisturizing products available at the drug store too. But make sure you get the right one to suit your skin type (e.g. combination/oily). If you don't, products may add too much oil to your face, and will make the acne worse.
A gentle exfoliater will help too. I use 'Nivea Young Smooth It!'. Anything too harsh has the potential of making your acne worse.
Also, if you wear make-up, try to opt for a mineral foundation and blusher. These let your skin breathe and contain no oils. Make sure to wash the make-up brushes you apply them with too. I normally wash my brushes every one to two weeks to stop the bacteria growing on them, which can cause spots and can infect any other spots you may already have.
If you can, get a spot stick from your drugstore. I've found these to be better than wiping your whole face with spot pads. With spot sticks, you can directly apply the substance to a spot to reduce it's appearance and to dry it out, without applying a substance to the whole of your face, which may dry it out.
I've been there too, so I hope my past experience helps you :-)
Good luck!!
