will they get darker and the contrast increases ,or will the tanning hide them and the skin will blend as if nothing is wrong ?

Well because you are tanner, people will not notice them as much so it will blend in more, but once you become pale again they will still be there. I would suggests using a microdermabrasion home kit along with the self tanner to even out your skin
