Unfortuately there isn't much in the drugstore cosmetic realm that I recommend (at least when it comes to things like foundation/coverup). Drugstore brands are fine for things like shadows (if you don't expect them to last all day) and mascara, but they have a long way to come in the realm of foundations I do recommend that you look at the drug store for the individual swabs that contain medicated liquid that you apply to pimples. This will help dry them up and clear up the pimple faster and also make them smaller.


There are a few brands that make truely awesome products to cover pimples. These products contain binders to help them adhere to oily and agravated skin, and medications to sooth and help clear up the blemish. I recommend Bobbi Brown belmish stick or Benefit Galactic Sheild. These are two fantastic products for blemishes and they won't create more blemishes, which many oil based or inexpensive products do. I know these items are pricy, but they truely last a very long time and it is worth it when it is youskin.


If you are really on a budget try getting some mineral makeup that doesn't contain talc or bismuth. This is least likely to irritate the skin, although it might not cover all that well.





Avoid foundations that contain oils and avoid items that are a ';whipped'; or ';mousse'; formula as these tend to be more clogging and lead to more pimples. Also, make sure to apply foundation and concealer with a clean brush or if you don't want to invest in a brush, a clean sponge EVERY time you apply makeup to avoid adding bacteria to your face.





You can also try applying Visene to particularly red blemishes as this can sometimes lighten them. Puting ice on pimples can help to calm the skin and reduce swelling in the infected area. This should make them easier to cover as well.What is the best conceler make up for pimples or small scars?
My favorite concealer is Physicians Formula Yellow concealer. It covers all blemishes very well and doesn't clog pores. It's about $4 or less!
I have used alot of different concelars.. and in my personal experience I have found that of all concelars.. Sheer Cover made the best one.. Dont get me wrong.. I dont think their other product, such as the minerals are very good.. but the conclear is incredible.
something similar to Bare Minerals,you can buy it at Wal-Mart.I have a lot of pimples and I use mineral makeup powder,it helps more than the liquid coverup because the liquid coverup cloggs your pores and makes more pimples.
i usually use a blemish stick and put a little on the zits, and then cover it up with dream matte mousse [it's maybelline]


it works really well, and it's not expensive. they should have these products at cvs, and most other pharmacies.

Try Bare Minerals Bisque. It will last yuo 20 years and it works better than any other concealer I have ever tried. You can purchase it online or at other makeup retailers (ex. Sephora). IT is honestly the best concealer EVER!
i like the foundation that you get at the body shop.


its pretty expensive but its really nice on your skin and lasts a while.
